About Us

Members and instructors of our Jazzercise group come from the communities of Gainesville, Haymarket, Bristow, Bull Run Mountain, and Nokesville. We come in all shapes and sizes and our ages span from 18 to 80! We pride ourselves on making sure everyone feels comfortable and part of the group. Many long-lasting friendships have formed as a result of our cozy atmosphere.

The Haymarket Center location opened in June 2007 and has been growing ever since.

Class Managers and Jazzersitters

We have the greatest class managers! They'll help you get signed up, signed in, make sure your attendance records are up-to-date, and think of innovative ways to keep morale high!

If you ever have any questions about class schedules, passes, current discounts or promotions, etc., be sure to stop by the sign-in table and talk to your class manager. They will answer your questions or give you any forms/information you might need.

Our sitters are there to make sure your little ones are cared for while you get a great workout. 

Our History

In January 2002, shortly after becoming a Certified Jazzercise Instructor, Laura took the reigns at Haymarket/Gainesville Jazzercise. Following a very successful first year, Laura received Jazzercise's Rising Star Award for class growth. In June 2007, Laura continued to grow Wackie Fitness Jazzercise by opening the Haymarket/Gainesville/Bristow Jazzercise Fitness Center in the old Shepherd of the Hills location where we once had classes.

Facility Information

The space for the center was redesigned and is now spacious: there is a jazzersitting room, changing area, and enough dance space to easily accommodate 30 jazzercisers. Having our own permanent location allows us to expand our schedule without any limitations due to other groups competing for the same space - and with additional classes comes additional instructors.
