Diane's Quiche


1 Pastry for 9-inch pie
4 eggs
1 1/2 C cream
2-3 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
2 T. chopped, sautéed onions
1 C shredded cheese (cheddar is good)
salt, pepper or paprika
2 T chopped, sautéed bell peppers
Any ingredient you prefer...mushrooms, etc.


  1. Bake pie pastry for about 10 mins. so it won't be so doughy
  2. Sprinkle bacon,cheese, peppers, onion, etc. into pastry shell.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, seasonings, some fresh parsley is good, and pour on top.
  4. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 mins. at 425 degrees.
  5. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake another 30 mins or until set.
  6. Decorate with paprika, red & green pepper strips, parsley.
