Hello, I’m Melanie McCormack, one of the associate instructors here at the Gainesville/Haymarket/Bristow Jazzercise Center. I have been teaching Jazzercise for thirteen years now, and I still enjoy helping people become healthier through this excellent dance fitness program.
I have a BS in Education and fourteen years of classical ballet experience. My strong dance background has provided me with dance and movement techniques that are easily followed for a fun, solid workout. I am expressive in my teaching, as well as in my personality. I feel like I have a “realness” about me that makes me extremely approachable.

I am married with three beautiful children. My family and I have relocated a number of times in the past few years. I always find that Jazzercise provides a sense of stability. Jazzercise is not only something you do, but a place to belong, another family.

I have worn many hats in Jazzercise, from student, to class manager, to associate instructor, to class owner. I think I have officially reached veteran status in the Jazzer world and look forward to sharing my knowledge of our program with you.
