Hi, I’m Melissa Schraml, Associate Instructor at Gainesville/Haymarket/Bristow Jazzercise Center. I have been Jazzercising since 1994 and absolutely LOVE it! I’ve wanted to become an instructor for years but my career did not afford me the time I needed to do so. I recently made the necessary career change (from Assistant Principal to teacher) so that I could have more time to spend more time with my 4-year old twin daughters; Kayla and Kelsey. This switch also gave me the opportunity and time needed to pursue my goal of becoming and instructor so I could offer earlier class times to our customers.

My husband, Rob, and my daughters are very supportive of Jazzercise. Kayla & Kelsey keep me company as I learn and practice new routines with shouts of “watch me, mom”! Rob does whatever is needed in Jazzercise by making sure I have the necessary audio-visual equipment set up properly.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Gainesville/Haymarket/Bristow Jazzercise team and am excited about the potential for the new center. Jazzercise is a fabulous way to get in shape, stay in shape, and make wonderful friends along the way! I hope you’ll join me Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 4:30pm.
